Executive - Customer Buyer (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities

As an Executive – Customer Buyer, you are responsible for managing cost, availability and inventory for the materials of the assigned programs. This role focuses on the sourcing of material considering best costs, quality and availability. You will be reporting to the Customer Portfolio Manager and the Sourcing Manager of the region. You should be a dynamic and self-motivated team player with an outstanding personality.

• Project Management: Decision on sourcing concept and responsible for procurement of assigned customer projects in the customer success teams.
• Supplier Management: Price negotiations for material offers, selection of suppliers and second sources within the existing supplier network and enhance network with new suppliers.
• Customer Relationship Management: Advising customers on optimal supply chains and project-specific sourcing strategies.
• Cost/Inventory Management: Preliminary and interim cost calculation of project materials. Monitoring and controlling of material cost and inventory.
• Data Management: Maintenance of master data and material planning (SAP).

Your qualifications

• Bachelor, Advanced Diploma or an equivalent professional qualification in Supply Chain Management / Procurement from a recognized professional institute.
• Minimum 3-4 years working experience in the relevant field. Experience in Electronics manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
• Should be a Team Player processing strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, Follow through commitments and meeting deadlines.
• Working experience in MS Outlook, Excel and Word is necessary. Hands-on experience with MS 365, Advanced Excel and an ERP system preferably with SAP will be an added advantage.
